INTENSIVE PROGRAMS FOR HOME-EDUCATED CHILDREN

INTENSIVE SESSIONS 1 & 2

Dates: October 5th and 19th  

Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm

Fee: £137.50 per child for both days

(A 10% discount will be given for siblings)

INTENSIVE SESSIONS 3 & 4

Dates: November 2nd & 16th

Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm

Fee: £137.50 per child for both days

(A 10% discount will be given for siblings)

Each Intensive Session involves working through 3 EFL exercises, each with a specific learning outcome, reflection and discussion of learning experience and journaling exercises.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Intensive 1 (4 hours) ~ 5th October

1.      Introduction to developing relationships

2.      Introduction to basic skills development

3.    Introduction to learning about ‘self’ as a part of an effective team/relationship

Intensive 2 (4 hours) ~ 19th October

1.      Developing interactive negotiation skills and how to think through the process

2.      Understanding how common sense influences change and how to use it to solve basic and complex problems

3.    Understanding and respecting the power of non-verbal communication or body language

Intensive 3 (4 hours) ~ 2nd November

1.      Understanding the value of respect through trust and the role active listening plays

2.      Building on observation through approach while focusing on appropriate assertiveness as a skill

3.      Understanding the importance of articulation/clear communication

Intensive 4 (4 hours) ~ 16th November

1.      Having choices and dealing with challenges associated through making decisions

2.      Leaning to be creative and innovative while working as a team player

3.      Building teams through developing group interaction

EACH PROGRAM OPTION INCLUDES: 

•    Equine Facilitated Human Development (EFHD) learning sessions focusing on skills development

•    Use of horses and all equipment

•    Qualified & experienced facilitators

•    Certificate of Completion

TASTER DAYS - COME & TRY DAYS

We are offering 4 dates for our 2-hour taster session for EFHD. Come and experience what equine facilitated learning is all about!

Dates: October 5th & 12th, November 2nd & 16th

Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm

Fee: Special Introductory offer of £20 per participant/2-hour session
